Bulletproof coffee was the one thing I said I would never try on a keto diet. I love coffee and I absolutely hated the idea of adding butter to it. Fast forward a year later and bulletproof coffee is one of my favorite keto staples. This is my breakfast and sometimes my fuel for the latter part of the day (helps me get through those 3 o'clock crash periods).
Sometimes you really need to switch it up a bit and that is where this bulletproof mocha coffee comes in. This is amazing, tastes like the fancy drinks from overpriced cafes for only a fraction of the price.
Ingredients
- Trader Joe's Coffee and Cocoa (2 tbsp for 1 cup of Coffee)
- 1 tbsp MCT oil
- 1 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp swerve/erythritol
Instructions
- Brew the coffee in a French Press for about 4/5 minutes
- Blend the brewed coffee and all the ingredients in a blender for a couple of minutes
- Sit back and enjoy a cup for high energy creamy mocha BPC cappuccino/latte
